1. Choose Start > Control Panel > System.

2. Click the Advanced tab.

3. Click Settings beneath Startup And Recovery.

4. Check the three boxes beneath System Failure (Write An Event To The System Log, Send An Administrative Alert, Automatically Restart).

5. Beneath Write Debugging Information, choose Complete Memory Dump.

6. Enter the name of the dump file in the Dump File field.

7. Check the Overwrite Any Existing File box.

8. Click OK to exit the dialog box. Click OK to exit System Properties. Click the close icon in the upper right to exit Control Panel.
