Clicking Google’s +1 button is a quick way for you to indicate approval of a post, image, article, or comment on Google+ (or the wider web) and to give it wider exposure. Clicking the +1 button is a great way to recommend items, give advice to your friends, and start conversations.
Furthermore, +1 also enables you to share items you find on the web inside your Stream in Google+. So you can quickly use +1 to populate your Stream with the interesting content you find during your web travels.
