Object-level security

This level applies to an object or group of objects (including folders and subfolders) within a Project. The permissions are used to enforce Object level.

As opposed to privileges, which are related to functionality, permissions are related to Object access. Permissions dictate the Access Control List (also known as ACL) of every object within the Project.

Object-level security is set by right-clicking on the desired object or folder | Properties | Security, as shown in the following screenshot:

In this window, administrators can establish which Users and User Groups have access to a specific object and/or children (underlying objects and subfolders). In addition, the User in session can take ownership of the object and/or children.
