Converting a Saved Search Collection to a Standard Collection

If you want to freeze the results of a saved search, convert the collection to a standard collection. You lose the search criteria, but you don’t have to worry about the file list changing automatically.

Convert the saved search collection by following these steps:

1. If necessary, click the Collections button in the toolbar to view the Collections pane.

2. Select the tab of the saved search collection.

3. Choose View⇒Collections⇒Convert to Standard Collection.

The search criteria are removed and no longer populate the Search bar when you select the collection.
