Removing Revisions
When you’re done working with the revision colors, you can remove them from the text one color at a time or all at the same time.
Removing revisions by color
If you’re done working with a specific level of revisions and you’re ready to make the changes permanent — meaning change them back to regular text — you can remove the revisions in only that color by following these steps:
1. Select the desired document(s) to work with in the Binder.
2. Click in the Editor pane to activate it.
3. If you’re not in Revision mode already, choose Format⇒Revision Mode, and choose the color/level that you want to remove from the submenu that appears.
The cursor changes color to indicate that you’re in Revision mode.
4. Choose Format⇒Revision Mode⇒Remove Current Revision Color.
All text in that revision color changes to regular text.
In fact, because revision marking is really just applying text colors, any text in the same color as the Revision mode you’re removing reverts to regular text, even if the color was not applied via Revision mode.
Text marked for deletion is still formatted as strikethrough text, rather than actually deleted, but it returns to black.
5. Choose Format⇒Revision Mode, and then choose the color/level that you were working with or choose None.
Revision mode is toggled off.
Removing all revision levels
To remove all levels of revisions from your document(s) at one time, follow these steps:
1. In the Binder, select the document(s) from which you want to remove revision colors.
2. Click in the Editor pane to activate it.
3. Choose Format⇒Revision Mode⇒Remove All Revisions.
All revision markings, regardless of color, are removed. Text marked for deletion still has strikethrough formatting applied, it just appears in the standard text color.
