Schmoozing

Writer’s groups offer camaraderie and understanding for those of us who often work our craft in solitude. But beyond the fellowship of kindred spirits, many groups offer their own e-mail loops — similar to a discussion board or distribution list — that are devoted to topics such as Scrivener and other technical aspects of writing. If not, maybe you can start one.

There’s a group for just about every type of writer out there. Search the web for writer’s organizations or writer’s associations, ask your librarian about local meetings of writers, or check out one of these groups:
