Importing our sounds into Unity

We will now import the sounds in either MP3 or wave format into our project.

As we have done before, we will need to create a Sounds folder in the Project panel. Once we have that, we are ready to begin importing:

  1. In the Project panel, right-click on the newly created Sounds folder and select Import New Asset:
  1. When you click on Import New Asset, an explorer window will open. Navigate to the directory where you stored your downloaded sound files (most likely your Downloads folder) and select the first one:
  1.  Click on Import.

Once the sound file is imported, repeat steps 1-3 for the other three files.

Now, we are ready to assign sounds to our Audio Sources. Before we do so, let's pull that Audio Source component and go over some of the options we will be looking at:
