Summary

Network programming is not easy in the slightest. It can be rather frustrating in my experience. Once it works, though, not only does the accomplishment feel great, typically you have learned about 50 things in the process that you will hopefully use.

In this chapter, we touched on the bare minimum that we could do to get a working network capable program. While the effect was minimal, so was the work.

In the next chapter, we will use a bit of everything we have learned to finish making our Skeeball game. We will use physics and some more advanced inputs, such as manipulation and navigation, to make a way to fire our ball like a pinball machine.

We will even finally make our scoreboard work by having triggerable game objects that respond when hit by our ball objects.
