You can Break or Edit the association if needed. Just click on the Association icon, and you will be presented with these two options. 

The third icon in the field is the Field menu. By clicking here, you can Rename, Associate, or Sort the field. Field names can also be changed by clicking on top of the field name. Lots of redundancy to make your life easier.
