Debugging is the routine process of identifying, locating, and removing program errors, bugs, or abnormalities. Debugging itself, and finding the issue in the code, is one of the most tedious and challenging tasks in web development. Luckily, most modern browsers now provide comprehensive debugging tools to assist with the development of web code. As it's not trivial to use them though, especially for beginners or developers with no web development background, part of this chapter is dedicated to helping navigate through the debugging process, focusing on the most relevant tools for developing on top of Qlik Sense.

While most browsers provide debugging tools, the author's personal and recommended choice is Google Chrome's Developer Tools.
