Content Library resources are usually images or other filed based documents which are uploaded and managed via the QMC.

| ContentLibrary | Content libraries | This helps restrict who has access to which parts of the content libraries. It's not uncommon for a project to have its images uploaded, which it doesn't wish to share with other projects. |
| FileReference | Representation of files stored on disk used by the binary sync to sync files between nodes | FileReference is a relevant resource filter for when replication synchronization is used. It can be referenced to ensure which apps are synced across environments, for example. |
| StaticContentReference | Links to files in a content library | This resource filter is the subset of the ContentLibrary and refers to specific images/files hosted within the content library. |
| TempContent | Content library for temporary content, such as files from exports | This refers to XLS or data extracts content generated when a user exports data from a visualization. As the export data action can cover most of the permission regarding extracts, there is no real use case where TempContent can be utilized. |
| SharedContent | Links to QlikView documents, Qlik NPrinting generated reports | Applies to QlikView and nPrinting generated reports resources in the hub. |
