Email server profiles are used to connect to Exchange Server. In Dynamics 365 CE, we can set up the following three types of email server profiles:

1. Exchange Server (Hybrid): Using this option, we can connect our Dynamics 365 CE Online organization to an on-premises Exchange Server.
2. Exchange Online: This option allows us to connect with the Exchange Online server.
3. POP3/SMTP Server: We can use this option to connect Dynamics 365 CE with POP3 and SMTP servers.

In our scenario, we are going to use the Exchange Online server connection to set up our email integration. We will be using the default email server profile created for Dynamics 365 CE Online for email integration. This profile will connect to Exchange Online for email integration. In order to connect to the Exchange Online server, we are going to set up a trial for Exchange Online.

You can use the following steps to configure the trial for Exchange Online:

1. Navigate to Microsoft 365 admin center | Subscription.
2. Click on Add Subscription, and we can select the following option:

3. Complete the subscription setups, and assign the Office 365 license to the user. We can click on the Edit User link under the User Management option in Office 365 and assign an Office 365 license from the Product licenses option.
