Power BI is another option to develop dynamic reports for Dynamics 365 CE. Power BI is a cloud service from Microsoft that provides integration options for Dynamics 365 CE. It also provides the option to apply complex formulas to Dynamics 365 CE columns, using chart visualization, and always provides real-time data. Power BI reports can automatically refresh data based on a schedule. We can build Power BI reports using different data sources. For example, you can develop a report where you can combine data from Dynamics 365 CE and your inventory system.

Dynamics 365 CE has around 25 general-purpose reports available out of the box. The following screenshot is of the default reports available in Dynamics 365 CE. We can use these reports as they are, or we can modify them:
