If we need to store date and time values, we can use this field. We can configure it to store only date values, or we can store both date and time values. Another important property we need to configure properly while creating the Date and Time field is its Behavior. We can use the following options:

• User: If this option is selected, date and time will be displayed in the user's local time and formatted as per their current portal language/locale.
• Date only: If this option is selected, it will only contain a date value without time zone conversion. The time will always be 12:00 A.M.
• Time-Zone Independent: If this option is selected, the date and time will be displayed with no time zone conversion. All users will be able to see the same date and time.
