Changing the vCSA root password on a regular basis is not only a way to enforce security, but it’s also a best practice. The steps are as follows for changing the vCSA password:
- From the VAMI, go to the Administration tab to change the password.
- Under the Change root password area, type the current password and enter a new one twice. Click Submit to save the changes:
