Connectors

Connectors are a way to let your team get updated data from external services connecting to a channel. A member of your team can use external services using connectors for Microsoft Teams, for example, an external RSS feed to a site that when an updated data is available, such as Office 365 blog or URLs, and IPs addresses of Office 365 or news, to all that updated changes been written directly to a channel of an Microsoft Teams.

You can add connectors from web client or desktop client of Microsoft Teams. Complete the following steps:

  1. To use a connector and link to the channel of your choice, just click on the more options (...) button on the channel and then click on the Connectors option, as shown in the following screenshot:
  1. You can use several connectors, such as RSS, and then click on the Add button. The following screenshot shows all the connectors available to add to a channel:
  1. Click on the Add button on RSS as an example. The following screenshot shows the installation of the RSS connector:
  1. Fill in the data of the connector that you are using, for example, a blog. After filling in the details, click on the Save button:
  1. After configuring, you can see the properties:
  1. You can see the updated information of a site that RSS directly into a channel:
