Skype for Business

Microsoft Skype for Business is the enterprise unified communications tool that supports chats, audio and video calls, conferencing, and online meetings.

Connect your teams through the applications they use on a daily basis, such as Office. With Skype for Business Online, you can make things easier within your organization, with one platform for calling, conferencing, video, and sharing.

This journey started in 2003 when Microsoft released the Live Communications Server 2003, followed by Microsoft Office Communicator and Lync, which later became Skype for Business in 2014. Skype for Business is available across devices, both mobile and desktop.

To access the Skype for Business Online admin center, go to https://portal.office.com. Select the Admin option, as shown in the following screenshot:

In the Admin centers section, select Skype for Business option, as shown in the following screenshot:

After connecting to the Skype for Business admin center, you will have access to a central place to administer Skype for Business, as shown in the following screenshot:
