Step 1. Begin with the first step in the new product development process: idea generation. Work as a group to decide what your new app will be.

Step 2. Proceed through the idea screening, product analysis, product development and testing, and commercialization steps. What do you estimate the consumer demand and production feasibility for this product to be? What factors will affect production costs? How might you test-market this product? How will it be marketed? Discuss the answers to these questions as you address their corresponding steps.

Step 3. Prepare a summary of your findings and present them to the class.
