WELCOME TO THE NEW MOTION EDITOR. At first glance this new panel will probably provoke 1 of 3 reactions:
1: An overwhelming sense of dread that there’s a seemingly complicated new set of tools to learn.
2: Sweet! I don’t know how to use it or what it does but I can’t wait to dive in and find out.
3: Aha! I’ve used After Effects before and this looks familiar! Whatever your reaction is, the Motion Editor will prove helpful when creating complex animations.
You can edit the shape of most property curves in the Motion Editor by adding property keyframes and manipulating the curve with the Bezier controls. For the X, Y, and Z properties, you can add and remove control points on the property curves, but you cannot use Bezier controls. When you change the control points of a property curve, the changes appear on stage immediately.
