In the last few years, mobile has grown so fast that it's now the leading digital platform. Users are spending more time on mobile devices than on their personal computers. Business applications are also impacted by this trend. Employees need mobile apps to create and submit their timesheet and expenses; managers need apps to approve workflow requests on the go; sales reps need customer information, and can create orders on the go when they are visiting customers. Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations comes with the following mobile apps on Android and iOS devices:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Unified Operations: This is a generic app that hosts mobile workspaces built and deployed within the Finance and Operations application.
  Several mobile workspaces are available out of the box, such as Invoice approval, Expense management, and Purchase approval. In addition, Finance and Operations mobile workspace frameworks enable developers and IT administrators to customize the existing workspace and build new mobile workspaces. We will be covering the architecture and key capability of this app in the following section of this chapter.    
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations – Warehousing: The Warehousing app is a purpose-built application for warehouse workers to complete typical warehouse tasks by using mobile devices. The Warehousing app, once installed on the mobile devices, can be easily configured to work with your Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations instance, and supports features such as Material handling, Receiving, Picking, Putting, Cycle counting, and Production processes.  
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Timesheet: The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Timesheet mobile app is a purpose-built app to submit and approve timesheets for projects. This mobile app surfaces the timesheet functionality that resides in the Project management and Accounting area of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, improving user productivity and efficiency as well as enabling timely entry and approval of project timesheets.
