Financial reporting

Financial reporting is the financial results of an organization that are released to investors, creditors, or the public. Financial reports provide insights into an organization's financial state at any point in time or at the end of defined financial periods. The financial statement includes a balance sheet, income statement, profit and loss account, cash flow statement, and many other aspects.

Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations' financial reporting feature can be used to generate a financial report. To jumpstart financial reporting, Microsoft provides multiple default financial reports, which can be modified to suit the business needs of any customer. These modifications are made in a report designer-client:
