After unit tests and the coded UI are developed and checked into source control, you can integrate these tests with an automated build process, so that every time a build runs, these test cases are executed automatically.

The following screenshot shows test automation steps under the default build definition for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations:

As shown, the build process will find any assemblies that contain the test word and then execute them.
