When you create customization in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operation, similar to other application development in Visual Studio, you start with a project. The project helps you organize and manage the elements that you're working with. A Finance and Operations project in Visual Studio can contain elements of only one model. If you are working with multiple models, you must create multiple projects.
