One of the top customization requests on almost every implementation project by customers is to modify the Finance and Operations printable business documents such as purchase order confirmations, sales order packing slips, sales invoices, and many others. With the October 2019 release, the Configurable business document feature makes it possible for super users to customize the business document by using Microsoft Office-based templates.

The configurable business documents feature is built on top of the ER framework and provides out-of-the-box templates for several reports across the module.
