The following steps will help you to determine the vCenter system requirements:
- Estimate the number of hosts and virtual machines that will be managed by the vCenter Server
- Determine whether all of the vCenter Server components will be installed on a single server, or on separate servers
- Size the vCenter Server to support the managed inventory
