Follow these steps to use PMEM storage in vSphere:
- Install a supported PMEM device in your ESXi host
- Present the PMEM device as a datastore
- Create and attach virtual disks (vPEMDisk) to legacy VMs, ensuring that the VM storage policy is set to Host-local PMem Default Storage Policy
- For VMs that have PMEM-aware operating systems and applications, add a new NVDIMM device from Edit Settings….
