OneNote 2013 synchronizes notebooks that you share with others so that the version of the notebook on your computer or device and the version on a network, SkyDrive, or SharePoint are identical. By default, synchronizing is done automatically, behind the scenes. You can, however, synchronize a notebook whenever you want. You can also sync all notebooks manually, at a time of your choosing. At any time, you can check when OneNote last synchronized your shared notebooks.
On the ribbon, click the File tab to display the Backstage view.
Click the Info tab.
Click View Sync Status.
In the Shared Notebook Synchronization dialog box, notice when your notebooks were last synchronized (click the Sync Now button to synchronize a notebook right away).
Click Sync All to synchronize all your shared notebooks.
