To write a note in OneNote 2013, all you need to do is click on a page and start typing. OneNote creates a note container for each note that you write. As you write, the note container changes size to accommodate the text. A note can be as short or long as you want it to be.
Click on a page and type some text.
Press the Enter key to start a new paragraph.
Continue typing and notice how the note container widens to accommodate the text. When the container is as wide as it can be, the text wraps to next line.
Make the note container wider or narrower by moving the pointer over the sizing handle (located on the upper-right corner of the note container); when the pointer changes to a double-headed arrow, drag to the right to make the note wider or the left to make it narrower.
