Sending a page to Word

OneNote 2013 offers a command for sending a page to Word. You can use this command to take advantage of the numerous editing tools that are available in Word and then save the page as a Word document. For example, if you take meeting notes or gather information for a report by using OneNote, you can later send the data to Word to create a professional-looking document.

When you send a page to Word, its formats are retained, but any OneNote styles in the page are not converted to Word styles. Also, although pictures, embedded spreadsheets, links, and the text of Outlook items are sent to Word, recorded audio and video are not.

Send a page to Word

The page opens in Word. Use Word’s tools to edit and save the page.
