Panning to see your work

On a OneNote 2013 page that is crowded with many lines and shapes, it can be hard to find the line or shape you are looking for. For this reason, the Draw tab offers the Panning Hand.

With the Panning Hand, you can drag horizontally to move the page from side to side, or drag vertically to move it up or down.

Pan across or down the page

  1. On the ribbon, click the Draw tab.

  2. In the Tools group, click Panning Hand.

  3. On the page, drag the Panning Hand to the left, to the right, up, or down.

  4. When you finish panning, press Esc or click Type to resume typing notes.
