Sending a page by email
When you give a command to send a page by email, an Outlook 2013 message window opens automatically so that you can address the email message. You can write a message in the window to accompany the OneNote page. You can send a OneNote page in various formats, so even if your recipients don’t have OneNote, they can still view the page.
OneNote offers three methods to send all the notes on a page by email:

Email page . Send the notes on the page as text inside the email message. Use this method to send a page to someone who doesn’t have OneNote.

Email as attachment . Send the page as two file attachments. Using this technique, you send a section (.one) file and single file webpage (.mht) file. The recipient has the option of opening the .one file in OneNote and the .mht file in most web browsers. Use this method to send a page to someone who might not have OneNote.

Email page as PDF . Send the page itself as an Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) file. These files can be opened in Adobe Reader, a software program that most people have on their computers. Use this method to send the page to someone who doesn’t have OneNote but wants to preserve the notes in a file and read them in Adobe Reader.
Send a page by email

In the page tabs, click the tab of the page that you want to send by email.

On the ribbon, click the File tab to display the Backstage view.

Click the Send tab.

Choose Email Page, Send As Attachment, or Send As PDF.

Enter an email address in the message window.

Enter a message to accompany the attached files.

Click Send.
Tip
You can also email a page starting on the Home tab. Click the Email Page button to send the notes on the page as text inside an email message.
Try This
Send a OneNote page to yourself as an attachment. Then, after you receive your message, in the Outlook message window, double-click the .one file in the Attached box to see what happens when you send a .one file to a colleague. The .one file opens in OneNote. Double-click the .mht file to open the OneNote page in your browser.
