Converting OneNote 2007 notebooks to 2010–2013 and back again
You can convert Microsoft OneNote 2007 notebooks to Microsoft OneNote 2010-2013 format to take advantage of the features not available in the 2007 edition. For example, you must convert to OneNote 2010–2013 to share notebooks with the OneNote Web App.
Convert a OneNote 2007 notebook to 2010-2013

In the Notebooks pane, right-click the notebook that you want to convert to OneNote 2010–2013.

On the shortcut menu that appears, choose Properties.

In the Notebook Properties dialog box, click Convert To 2010-2013.

In the pop-up message box that appears, click OK to confirm that you want to convert the notebook.
Convert a OneNote 2010–2013 notebook to 2007

In the Notebooks pane, right-click the notebook that you want to convert to OneNote 2007.

On the shortcut menu that appears, click Properties.

In the Notebook Properties dialog box, click Convert To 2007.

In the pop-up message box that appears, click OK to confirm that you want to convert the notebook.
