After you draw lines and shapes, you can move them on the OneNote 2013 page to create illustrations. To move a line or shape, select it and drag. Lines and shapes can be placed over one another (partially obscuring the line or shape underneath) or next to each other to create complex illustrations.
On the ribbon, click the Draw tab.
In the Tools group, click Type or Lasso Select.
Select the line or shape.
Move the pointer over the line or shape until you see the four-arrow pointer.
Drag the line or shape to a different location.
To learn techniques for selecting lines and shapes, read Selecting lines and shapes.
To help you line up shapes and note containers on pages, OneNote automatically snaps these items to an invisible grid when you move them. If you prefer that items not snap to this grid, on the Insert Shapes gallery, click the More button and clear the Snap To Grid check box. You can also press Alt as you drag items to temporarily turn the grid option off.
