The fastest way to reformat text in a note is to apply a style. OneNote offers 11 styles in all. Six of the styles (Heading 1 through Heading 6) are for formatting headings. Normal is the default style, the one that is used when you create a new note. OneNote also provides the Page Title style for page titles, the Citation style for citations, the Quote style for quotations, and the Code style for computer code. However, you can use these styles any way you want.
Styles apply to entire paragraphs, not to individual words or letters. To apply a style, just click in a paragraph and choose a style.
