Repositioning the Quick Access Toolbar
The Quick Access Toolbar in OneNote 2013 can become too crowded with buttons. In that case, consider moving it below the ribbon, where there is enough room to comfortably display a dozen or more buttons.
Reposition the Quick Access Toolbar below the ribbon
Reposition the Quick Access Toolbar above the ribbon

On the Quick Access Toolbar, click the Customize Quick Access Toolbar button.

On the menu that appears, click Show Above The Ribbon.
