Moving a ribbon tab or group

Move ribbon tabs to make them easier to find on the ribbon. You can also move ribbon groups to make them easier to find on a tab.

Move a ribbon tab or group

  1. Click the File tab to display the Backstage view.

  2. Click the Options tab.

  3. In the Outlook Options dialog box, click the Customize Ribbon tab.

  4. In the Customize The Ribbon section, select the tab or group that you want to relocate.

  5. Click Move Up or Move Down as many times as necessary to move the tab or group to the desired location.

  6. Click OK.
