Rotating and flipping lines and shapes

OneNote 2013 offers commands for flipping items and for rotating items to the left or right by 45 or 90 degrees. Rotating an object pivots it around its center. Flipping an object reverses it (creates a mirror image). An object can be flipped over a horizontal or vertical axis that runs down or across its center.

Rotate and flip lines and shapes

  1. On the ribbon, click the Draw tab.

  2. In the Tools group, click Type or Lasso Select.

  3. Select a line or shape.

  4. In the Edit group, click Rotate.

  5. On the menu that appears, click any of the Rotate or Flip commands.

Tip

You can also apply the Rotate and Flip commands to pictures and screen clippings. However, you can’t rotate or flip pictures and screen clippings at 45-degree angles.
