Zooming in and out

OneNote 2013 offers a number of Zoom buttons and controls on the View tab. You can use them to zoom in and out and get a better view of your work. Zoom in, for example, when drawing a note with precision; zoom out to see more notes on the page.

You can zoom in and out by a preset amount. You can also enter an exact percentage at which to zoom in or out.

Zoom in and out

  1. On the ribbon, click the View tab.

  2. In the Zoom group, click the Zoom drop-down arrow to open its menu and click a preset percentage to zoom in or out.

  3. Click the 100% button to zoom to exactly 100%.

  4. Click Zoom In to zoom in by 25% less.

  5. Click Zoom Out to zoom out by 25% more.

  6. Click Page Width to zoom in so that the width of the page is the same as the width of the window.

Tip

You can enter any percentage you want in the Zoom menu and press Enter to zoom to a percentage of your choice.

Tip

Click the Zoom In or Zoom Out multiple times to zoom in or out by preset amounts.
