Chapter 16. Using OneNote with other Office 2013 applications
In this section:
Microsoft OneNote 2013 works hand in glove with Microsoft Word 2013 and Microsoft Outlook 2013.
In the case of Word, you can send a OneNote page to Word 2013. All formats except styles transfer to the Word page. After you edit the page in Word, you can save it as a Word document.
In the case of Outlook 2013, Outlook offers the OneNote button for copying email messages, contacts, and tasks directly from Outlook into OneNote. Moreover, when you copy a meeting, contact, or task, OneNote includes a link that you can click to return to Outlook when you need to.
In addition, you can create an Outlook task in OneNote without having to open Outlook. You can even mark the task as complete later on. You can copy information about a meeting directly from Outlook into OneNote, as well.
