Chapter 4. Writing basic notes

In this section:

The simplest type of note is a typewritten note—one you enter with the keyboard. Entering this kind of note is simple because all you need to do is click on a page and start typing.

Pages tend to become crowded with notes, and to prevent that from happening, you can move notes and delete the ones you no longer need.

The standard techniques for copying and moving text in Microsoft Office 2013 also apply in Microsoft OneNote 2013. For example, on the ribbon, on the Home tab, you’ll find the Cut, Copy, and Paste buttons. You’ll find standard commands for formatting text there as well, including the Font menu, Bold button, and Italic button. And, like Microsoft Word 2013 and Microsoft PowerPoint 2013, OneNote has a Style menu for quickly formatting text.

Do you want to to create a numbered or bulleted list? You can do that in OneNote 2013, too, by using the Bullets and Numbering buttons on the Home tab.
