Chapter 8. Making OneNote easier to use

In this section:

Microsoft OneNote 2013 presents many opportunities for rearranging and changing the screen so that you can get your work done faster and easier.

When you need more room in the page window to write and read notes, you can minimize the Notebooks pane, pages tabs, and the ribbon. You can change views, as well. OneNote 2013 offers Full Page view for reading and editing notes and Normal view for organizing and formatting notes.

When you’re taking notes from a web browser or application, consider docking OneNote to the desktop. Docking entails moving the OneNote screen to the right side of the monitor window, making it possible for you to write notes and still see other applications.

To quickly switch between different pages, open a second (or third or fourth) OneNote window. You can jump from window to window by clicking the OneNote button on the Windows taskbar and making a page selection.

OneNote also offers the standard zoom-in and zoom-out commands to make reading easier. These commands are found on the View tab of the ribbon.
