Using Adobe Connect Pro with Moodle

Adobe Connect is one of the more popular virtual classroom applications in use with Moodle. It is also one I use every week for training, meetings, and webinars. Every virtual classroom application has a unique feature profile, and Adobe Connect is no different.

You will find full information on the product on the Adobe website under the following URL http://www.adobe.com/education/products/adobeconnect.html. There is a lot of good information on the website, and notably there are links to the various integrations with a number of LMS, including Moodle.

The page describing the Moodle integration can be found at http://remote-learner.net/adobeconnectpro and the actual module for Moodle can be found in the Modules and plugins page on Moodle at http://moodle.org/mod/data/view.php?d=13&rid=3599.

For the purpose of the instructions below, you will need to have a fully working Adobe Connect Pro 7 server installation. If you are using the Adobe Connect Pro hosted account, some features such as Single Sign On and external authentication will not work. For more information about any extra ACP installation issues, check with Adobe or look at the Moodle documentation http://docs.moodle.org/en/Remote_Learner_Adobe_Connect_Pro_Module.
