Real Simple Syndication (RSS) is a simple XML protocol for sharing news stories across the web. RSS has been applied in a lot of areas, from simple news readers to audio and video distribution through podcasting. Moodle can both create and consume RSS feeds and we'll explore how to do both in this section.
