Creating, Modifying, Troubleshooting Pages for Web Clients

Though pages and forms are similar, forms allow the collection of data and pages are usually used to display information. Following are settings on the Page Info tab in the Page Properties (Figure 14.6) that affect how pages display:

  • If the page contains in-line HTML and it is being used for Web and Notes clients, then selecting Render pass-through HTML in Notes allows it to appear correctly in the Notes client.

  • In the Web Access area, select a type of content: Notes, HTML, or Other. Selecting Other opens a text box for you to enter your choice.

  • Choose a character set to be used for Web clients.

  • Choose the active, visited, and unvisited link colors that will appear on your page.
