When designing Domino applications, you need to consider a few important questions. First, who will be accessing this application—Notes clients, Web clients, or both? When designed for both clients, some elements function differently and may look different depending on the client. Second, can you control the browser accessing your application? If not, you may have to account for differences in how your application functions in the different browsers. Further, some functions just are not supported on the Web. This chapter looks not only at features that work on both clients, but features to avoid and some that just may need a little tweaking.
