Design elements are the foundation of Domino development and there are many new and enhanced design elements in Domino 6. This chapter covers the information you need to know regarding Domino design elements for 611 exam.

In Chapter 4, “Exam 610—Design Elements,” you learned about the Domino IDE and its elements. In this chapter, you also need to open a Notes database in the Domino Designer and work with the design elements. Before proceeding with this chapter, go back and review the sections of Chapter 4 titled “The Domino Designer Integrated Development Environment (IDE)” and “Domino 6 Design Elements.” Follow the instructions in those sections for opening the database in the Designer and reviewing the common Domino 6 Design elements.
