Although Domino has long supported hidden columns in a view, Domino 6 now enables developers to programmatically hide and show columns in a view. To programmatically hide a column, follow these steps:
1. | Open a view in the Designer client. |
2. | Right-click the column you want to hide. This opens the Column properties box. Click the Advanced tab (the seventh tab), shown in Figure 9.12. Figure 9.12. The Advanced tab of the column properties box. |
3. | Enable the appropriate hide-when settings:

4. | Save the view that contains the column. |
