Summary

We have just started to scratch the surface of design elements that can be used in designing Web applications. This chapter has discussed how to create public access agents, views, and forms. You have also learned techniques for working with shared resources, such as style sheets, images, Java applets, as well as techniques for creating, modifying, and troubleshooting forms, layers, outlines, framesets, and other elements. The chapter also discussed using Profile documents to personalize Web site experience, how to implement Java servlets, and how to deploy and utilize LotusScript for Web clients. As you have seen, knowing what will work on the different clients and how design elements render on the Web is important. Knowing what does not work on the Web is equally important.
