There are two ways inheritance can be used: You can inherit field values from one document to another, or you can inherit the entire document contents into a Rich Text Field on another document. Setting up document content inheritance is identical no matter what client is using inheritance. Set up document content inheritence by following these steps:
1. | In the response form, create a Rich Text field. |
2. | Select the Defaults tab on the Form Properties. |
3. | Select On Create: Inherit entire selected document into rich text field. |
4. | Select the Rich Text field name and select how to display the document: as a link (shown in Table 14.6), as a collapsible rich text field, or as a rich text field. |
