For an even deeper offline integration, Drive offers an installable desktop version, so users can keep a local copy of files on their machines and any changes done to them will sync automatically next time the software detects internet connectivity. It's possible to disable this feature, or to keep it enabled but hide the download links so that users can only use it via Google Drive to avoid potential security problems.
